Jenna’s Dream provides scholarships to two groups of children:

College Scholarships
For High School seniors who are continuing their education in an accredited college performing arts program. Scholarships are awarded by a grading system based on a number of considerations. Applicants must:

  1. Submit a copy of their high school transcript.
  2. An essay describing why the applicant feels that he or she would be a good candidate for our scholarship.
  3. A resume indicating the applicant’s performance experience, work history (if any) and community service.
  4. Submit two letters of recommendation from teachers and others qualified to attest to an applicant’s commitment to the performing arts and dedication to community service.
  5. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Summer Theatre Arts Camp Scholarships
For at-risk children between the ages of six and thirteen to attend a summer theatre arts camp. Candidates for this scholarship must:

  1. Be able to demonstrate a financial need and at-risk status. We do not ask for actual financial records, but a letters of recommendation from school officials, teachers or clergyman attesting to the child’s at-risk status and financial need must be included as part of the application.
  2. Be identified and recommended by their school administrators and/or teachers as someone who would benefit from a summer performing arts program.
  3. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
